Ayurveda (Ayur-LIFE, Veda-KNOWLEDGE) as a preventative health care system has been practiced in India for more than five millenniums. Its great contribution in supporting the body/mind balance is based on principles which help the individual to reintegrate into wholeness.

These classes provide an orientation for

  • Understanding basic Ayurvedic principles
  • Determining your own individual body type
  • Balancing and optimizing your unique constitution, utilizing food qualities
  • Incorporating seasonal changes in your diet
  • Making Ayurveda an enjoyable part of your life
  • There will be explanation about the principles as well as "hands-on" cooking experience followed by a light, organic, gluten-free meal.

    Space is limited to 8 persons per class.

    Facilitator: Christine Bandettini, LMFT & Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, facilitates the class. She has studied Ayurveda with many adepts in several traditions both in the U.S. and India for 20+ years. The intuitive preception guides the class for you.
