Addiction specialists in private practice, rehabilitation programs and 12-step recovery programs are starting to recognize that the body/mind/soul/spirit approach of yoga is a great adjunct to conventional treatments for drug, alcohol and food abuse as well as addictive behaviors like gambling and shopping. The Yoga component treats the biology and the psychology of an addict. This workshop will benefit each person, so bring a friend or two.

FACILITATOR: CHRISTINE BANDETTINI, MA, LMFT & Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, uses her passion for meditation as a recovery tool both in her personal life on a daily basis, and in her work as a holistic therapist and yoga teacher. Ongoing since 1991, she trains with the teachers and Masters of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition.
