Addiction specialists in private practice, rehabilitation programs and 12-step recovery programs are starting to recognize that the body/mind/soul/spirit approach of yoga is a great adjunct to conventional treatments for drug, alcohol and food abuse as well as addictive behaviors like gambling and shopping.
